funny pic.
its not so hard to be a newbie you just have to be sijun-random-musing-resistant If you like a forum and you feel at home thei like you 2 and if you post regular crits and comments thei will like you 2 (I think).
some people just need thicker skin.
how can you hate this forum I ask my self we have the best treads example the speedpainting thread almostt always you get replys on ur post not always (you know what I mean) you get alot of insparation so what's wrong with the sijun forums? NOTHING IS WRONG!!!! and that sick newbie malauvaux guy (spelled his name wrong) is jus't a kid with no backspine
so pay attention newbies if you get bad cits or whatever don't hold back try to earn respect and stuff. Wy leave the sijun forums?
we have no bad intentions here.

I don't half feel noobified when I enter a forum. It's all about content, not age, and there's no exam to pass unless you're trying to remark on something academic.
I can't draw for shit and I love posting here. I love reading here. This is the perfect forum, where everyone (almost) is focused on the what, not the who. And that's what makes artists flourish. ^_^
Some great artists seem to suffer from more lack of confidence than many newborns here. I don't know why.
Perhaps if people really feel bad about being "new", we should figure out a way to turn off the member #s (like we do with the stars)... |

You know as much as I hate answering old questions time after time, and the emotional rollercoaster that some new people bring here. I have to feel somewhat sorry for them. I myself have been in the past discurraged with having posted and no one has replyed to me. It is not so much that I thought I sucked it was more like:
" come on guys give me something to work with here"
Because we are all trying to get better here. We have an age range from 12 to 40s ish. A Huge community. What are up to 7500 register users. How many of those visit? How many post? surly out of even out of 3000 some one could get at least 2 useful replies. Hey we could turn into lumental where someone posts once in a blue moon, have no spice, no life. Don't get me wrong I love the Idea of a commited Artist haven, where dedicated artist can really focus. I even 'applied' and was rejected how sad for me. I am in a way happy because it appers that the people here have more intrest, perhaps less ability. Sometimes that lack of ability is a pain, because a talented artist is not challanged and only gets replies like :
"I love you"
"Cool"
"Looks good"
"Wow"
etc.
blah, blah, blah, blah...........blah........
This started off as jus a simple relpy say I do feel for a majority of the new guy/gals. But, I went on and on and on and on. Sorry of the rant. Just a few things I guess I wanted to say.
