Hi all,
I haven't posted here for a long, long time.

I was "boot", now I'm "Beat", but, really, I'm the same old Beet. Wait, do I sound like a complete loon ?

here's a bunch of studies I made mostly with Painter. different styles and exercices. The only commissioned piece among those : that samurai I made for a CCG.
I'd like to have your comments on what you like, and don't. thanks for your input !

Beat, I just poured through your site. Your stuff is inspiring. You seemed to have a nice balance of things that you are most interested in and things that will be marketable. Tell me, do you support yourself on the work that I see on your site?

Theo: Thanks- and Yes, I'm living of my art.
for the studies(done in Painter) from my own photos,I usually don't use any sketches and work with colors directly. I personally prefer it that way. Not a rule carved in stone, though.
Sparth : - been to your site - You guys have done Alone4? cool - and merci, btw

glad you like that one, I posted it because the initial description I had for it was so vague, I could make it into a more personal image.

hehe wowwow nice art beet!! ` i love that bird-view pic of the gerl crouching.. the strokes are marvo- and the whole atmosphere of the pic is realli smooth ! id like to see it finished

Wow. Very lovely work. Yeah, I agree with Bellie... the one of the girl crouching is definitely my favorite of those listed. You're stuff is VERY inspiring. Hopefully I'll be as good as you are someday ^_^ That'd be nice. heh. Keep it up!

bellie : it's finished as it is - I could have posted that one in the speed painting thread, actually, I did it very quickly - I'm glad I haven't overworked it, for once.
I'll do and post more of those quick images, they're all fun.
