This was my first attempt at a picture like this. I'm afraid it got a little out of hand... I going to try some more less epic things before doing it again...

Very nice, Phil. I really like this diversion from your usual stuff. It's so different, yet has your exact palette and style =] Gotta love it.

Oh, and I will buy a print of yours once I make some money. By the end of summer, I promise =]

Keep going with these radical subjects...perhaps a character concept painting next? I dunno, I just love this newfound diversity =]

Wow, simply amazing. I love your overall painting, and actually, I think your third detail shot could be a painting in and of itself. When I clicked on it, I thought OMG, was that in the original? Then I went back and noticed it. Great stuff, always love your work, and it was nice to see this one progress even if I was in lurker mode.

That does look great, the detail is very nice too, yet there is something about it (which i can't put my finger on) that doesn't make it quite harmonious. Maybe it's a compositional issue?

Good job, Phil. I really like the progression of this painting. It was very brave of you to jump out into the world of futuristic industrial design. And I must say, I'm impressed.

Another Phil

holy ass...i saw that at lumental.. the detailing level is mind blowing. only one thing that bothers me is somewhere between the tallest building and his perspective acording to the horizon...but whatta hell, its freaking good phil.
