@fazedesign: as far as i understand from kamal's description, it doesn't use "brakes" per se,... it uses those thrusters... |

Marcus: I love the simplicity of your vehicle design. I liked the realtime 3D as well. Nice work!
LoTekk: You're right, the thrusters are the key. The breaks themselves are inside the wheel but the thrusters keep the inner cockpit from rotating when it breaks. It all happens automaticly ofcourse.

You don't neccesarily need the thrusters you know. Think about the weight that is sitting in the lower half of the inner disc. Surely that would be enough to stop it climbing up the side and spinning itself. Of course you couldn't do any sharp braking with it! |
