Vector? I can't really make sense of how that was done in Illustrator, but it's very cool anyway. |

Hmm... her flesh tones are different on each part of her body.
She has a brown right asscheek, a white left asscheek, and a couple of purple arms attached to her Caucasian torso. :P
It's technically awesome, but the colours are sorta inconsistent. |

jeezus, that's amazing, dude... even after looking at your tutorial i can't imagine the amount of work that must have taken...
here's a thing i was wondering about today, though: why illustrator and not photoshop (or something similar)? unless you plan on making it resolution-independent (and this would only really matter if you needed this at some ridiculous size like 15000x15000 or something... correct me if i'm babbling... |

blackpool: he exported the image as a .png so it would download in the browser. so it is a bitmap/raster file. i suppose he could have tried transferring it to flash to keep the vectors intact... although, i'm not sure how that would work out with such a complex image
summer: that's really great! how did you do it? did you create many shapes and then fill them with various gradations to get the effect you were after? or did you use the gradient mesh tool?

first of all i must say how much i appreciate this image. im a vector junky. i love how the simple shapes can come together and form such beautiful work.
im not gonna critique this work because i feel like a toddler analysing Picasso. |

I think the colors are fine. Very cool!! I am suprised though at how long it took to load because I was always under the impression that vector was more internet friendly and would download a lot faster the raster. But that sure doesn't seem to be the case here. |

Hey thanks!
Well, yeah it did take some (!) time, but I had no idea how much work it would require when I first started. It got all messy mostly because of the big objects. Next time I will definitely choose something with more objects!
Anyway, I learned from the experience and I guess thats what counts.
Theres another one here, although not quite as complex and naked.
Thanks again

Woooow...
***speachless***
Illustrator?????? I simply cannot comprehend this, unless I start to picture the concept of spending "SIMPLY TOOOO MUCH TIME in front of the computer" in my head! I am truly amazed!
Imponerende! Noget lignende tror jeg aldrig jeg har set prsteret med vektorgrafik! Hvor og hvordan faen lrer man at mestre Illustrator p den mde? |

Umm I have a request.. could you possibly next time state that there is going to be nudity? I was rather embarassed when I pulled this up and just then a co-worker walked into my cubicle. |

Very cool stuff.
I wish I had the patience to create an image in Illustrator.
Vector stuff has never really been up my alley (aside from logo design), but there's no denying this is a very well done image.
I tip my hat to you.
Take it easy and keep up the good work,

Sorry about the nudity-chock. =)
(det er faktisk ikke s svrt, man skal bare bruge gradient mesh over det hele, og s blive ved indtil man brkker sig, he...)
