this is a simple wallpaper i made with the 3d model i am currently shaping in 3d studio max r4. i've been working on it furiously for the past few days. it's only my 5th model ever, and i'm pretty happy with how it's looking.
started from scratch, and it was done with polygons not nurbs. i think it's around 1200 faces at this point.
i originally wanted to just make a simple model for animating, but i just went crazy when i finally figure out how to make the meshsmooth work correctly. if you want to see the progress for this piece, you can check it out on my site at this link.
crits welcome i guess... got any tips or better places i could post for help on 3d stuff?

3D is certainly welcome here, although the illustrative uses of the medium tend to get a lot more interest here.
For better feedback on the more technical side of things there are lots and lots of forums out there, but the ones that immediately spring to mind are those at Highend3D; http://www.highend3d.com/
The model looks good, for what it's worth. ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

i liked the animation on the site, how long did it take to make the model, to rig it and then to make it do them exercises |
