i had a whole lotof problems coloring this... not insanely happy with how it came out, but oh well i'm tired of working on it all the time.

i like making up stories behind my pictures while i work on them... these guys' culture is very dependent on catching "glowworms"... when a youngin becomes a man, he goes out with all of the other guys and catches glowworms to be used as lights in thier towns. a youngin's first time catching glowworms is liek a barmitsfa or something... the whole town gets together and celebrates. this guy featured in the picture is a natural. its his first time and he has more glowworms that any of the other guys. i think thats his dad on the right side. he is really clumsy when he catches the worms, splashing mud all over the place. each of his catches seem like flukes, but at the same time he gets more than anyone else. the force is strong with this one.

damn.. wow.. I really like the coloring ALOT!!

I dont know why but the flying creatures and the moon make the top part kinda *very* bright and distracting. Either i'm sleepy or I dont know

Over all I think thats an excellent picture!

Very nice indeed.

The blue highlights are a bit dramatic, but otherwise I can't think of anything that would make you complain about the coloring.

The trees and the mud are both very cool. Love the pattern on the tree to the right.

The faces are also quite nice, but I'd like to see some sense of different attitudes in the eyes in the background... they can't all be like this:

Oh... one last thing.... Love them pants! Now why don't they show things like that on the catwalk in Paris?

They look like big penises in over-alls.

um...

maybe i just have my head in the gutter?
but i still think its a bit phalic :P
