In the spirit of the upcoming Star Wars Episode 2..

Done with a mouse, roughly 2 hours.. It could use refinement, so any critiques?

Yeah, it does need a red lightsaber and it should be thicker, too!
Nice one!

"Impressive." Since it was done with a mouse it's "most impressive." You handled the colors incredibly well and the form really expresses the dark and dangerous ambience of the pic. And my favorite thing about this pic is your interpretation of the light saber. I like how you have it really thin with little glare. However, the only problem I might have with the pic is that the eyes are too low on his head; that or he has a large forehead.

"I see the spooge demon has taught you well."

You might try just taking out his eyes all together.

Wow, that's cool, it has a dark and cold ambience I can feel. The blue Saber seems to keep with the cold theme.

I like the addition of the eyes. Sabre does need to be thicker and have a fairly heavy glow. For a mouse piece, its very good.

As for a blue sabre, I agree with unit that it keeps with the coldness of the image. A red sabre would mean having to deal with reflective light on his body too. Thats sure to bring about a serious case of RSI if you havnt got a Wacom..

The painting is really superb .. very nice cold, dark/evil ambience to it ..
I can feel the movement, and the tension.
(and i think i hear a song playing in the background too ...
but I have to agree ... Needs a Red LightSaber and a thicker one at that too ...

a thick red light saber ...
... not blue ... its soo ...... i dunno ... wrong .

What the fuck?

This is pretty much crossing the line.. I've never even seen that fucking picture before.

Post the original image and where I can find it, big guy.

So now ALL cloaked people are rip offs?

Hmm Bang, as much as I hate senate, I'm gonna have to disagree with your claim. I did overlay his image over Craig's in Photoshop and the hood only barely lined up. The torso is much slimmer, and the pose in general is drastically different. As much as I'd love to pin ANOTHER rip on senate, I don't think this one is it. :/

How pathetic is it when a simple human can get so emotionally overworked enough to feel raw hatred toward someone simply because they did a paintover of a photograph.

Hate terrorists who take peoples lives, hate criminals who rape and murder. Don't hate a fucking person on a message board who does a paintover.

i dont know, the cloth fold on the head seems smimilar to be. If you scale the pic, you should see it fits.

And i've just noticed something, he modified that fold after I accused him. Oh sure, i could be lying, so every one should trust Senate.

What the hell did I modify?

You're so pathetic... show me what I allegedly modified.. I don't even know what you're comparing, idiot.

For all I know, you could have EASILY added whatever you wanted to my picture, as you have your own copy on your server.

Are you an idiot? I wasn't even talking to you.

A smart person would have realized I was responding to the immediate poster before mine, who had mentioned the words HATE.

Christ "Dr. Bang", how fucking stupid are you? Do me a favor and refrain from responding to this thread again.

You must realize you're wrong and are just trying to start flaming in all of my threads. Get a life.

Only Nicodemus, saladbowl, damppuppy , Unit , AJ , macho2k , Andromeda[*] can tell which one is the original. I'm nervous here.

I usually don't commit myself to flaming, but this is just too fucked up for me to hold my peace!

Look Senate - people like you are why artists like Craig very seldom post here anymore. Back in the days he (Craig) was posting very useful information, hints and guidance on how to inprove our art. All of sudden his art was posted on obscure artsites and 'threnodized' and he found it pointless to carry on when he felt it never mattered... (correct me if I'm wrong Craig)

And your attitude plus your previous post doesn't improve your case, now does it? In my point of view you are a little 17 year old brat desperatly in need of some good'n'old spanking! Grow up!

lol, you're right Dr. Bang, he did modify the fold in the hood. Hahahaha. I take back what I said earlier, this is a rip too.

Senate, you ugly little sack of shit, you aren't worth the time it is taking me to write this reply. You're some 13 year-old little shit who rips off people's art and tries to act tough on an Internet forum. Do you remember that we've seen what you look like? It just doesn't work when you're sounding like a big thug but look like a homosexual member of N'Sync. God, I wish I lived in New York, I'd have so much fun smashing your face through a wall.

Btw, nice peach fuzz goatie! You'll grow hair on your dinky too some day!

Edit: toned the language down a bit, I was harsh even by my standards. :P

I don't enjoy getting involved in these types of discussions because of the all around ugliness involved. I've known the feeling of being wrongly accused, but know the feeling of being busted as well. Fortunately none of them involved art, just stupid choices earlier in life. Lessons learned...

I believe this is the area in question?

I warily post this because I would hate to point a finger in the wrong direction due to a coincidence and apologize if that's the case, but because of recent post history...

Yes, it does match that other piece of art very well, since Dr. Bang so kindly messed with my original image..

But it's rather pointless to defend any of my images by now, and it's alot more fun to laugh at people like pixelsoldier, who make really..really..hypocritical statements, and alot of emotional nonsense.

I think Waldo's animation speaks volumes.

I didn't say you lived in New York City, did I? Did you know that New York is a whole state, too!? Yep, that's right! They aren't the same thing! I know, it just blows my mind too.

Post the original image and where I can find it, big guy.

You're so pathetic... show me what I allegedly modified.. I don't even know what you're comparing, idiot.

That sounds like tough guy talk to me, "big guy".

The reason I keep referring to the picture of yourself is because you took it upon yourself to insult Loki's physical appearance. I maintain that your ego needs deflating. So, that is why I keep making fun of the way you look - which of course, is like a bitch. Do you wear makeup too?

I didn't insult Loki until he directly did to me.

If you have trouble remembering, which you apparently do, please check the other threads.

I'd also like to point out you began threatening and insulting me farrr before I even spoke to you.

But alas, you have poor memory, and can't seem to remember any of these obvious facts.

Thus, if anyone is the "tough thug", it would be you.

And no, I don't live in New York State, either. Yet you continue to drag on this retarded idea?
