Wow, I like the textures on that bad dog. How did you do the hightlights/shadows. Is it all airbrushed, or did you use burn and dodge? Just curious, because I'm trying to decide which route I should start heading (right now I'm using paint/air brushes to do them). |

Well its easy really, first I went with the dodge and burn on the "multiply" layer which has the basic color. Then I created another layer, set the paintbrush to like 10 or 20% and did shadows and highlights. It has this cool chromish look, remember that regular material goes Shadow - Highlight - Shadow but chrome goes Shadow - Highlight - Shadow - Highlight. Try that you'll see the difference.
Also make another layer on top of that and add detail, this will really make it look good.

i got the remedy?
ok ok
i really like this peice the shading is great but it looks to me (and probably only me ) that the green 'tube' should give off some kinda reflection on the metal around it?
