I think you should get rid of the background as it devalues the image. make something more interesting happen behind him, but lose the gradient. the portrait itself is gorgeous, though.

Awetopsy: you are right about the eye .. when i was looking at the pic after a few days, the eye caught my attention.

madmouth: true... the background isn't gr8 like this .. don't know what to put in there though .. but will try something else.
