For those who are interested (and arn't sick to death of this character), here he is in color
I want to stress that I didn't do the colors, they were done by a friend of mine who will be coloring the comic, but I would still love to hear any feedback about the pic or colours and will pass on whatever is relevant.
thanks for your time ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Well, the coloring looks nice, but I would like to see more depth. Mor darks and more highlights.. the metal needs stronger lightsource.. and maybe add some texture to the artwork.. But since it is a comic.. You cant be to picky.. but if this is for the cover.. you gotta go all out..
Just my 2 cents.. Good luck man, I like what you got going though. |

the colour for this is completely wrong. first of all, lavender is not badass. there needs to be grit, and dark red and leather. also, the 3-d colouring doesn't suit your linework. since the lines are so clean and sharp, flat colouring would emphasize them where this just takes away. sorry, I'd suggest starting over again. this drawing is too good to be ruined with light green. |

same as madmouth coloring is the weak point...
My suggestion is that the main thing clock going around his face is red the main clothing and pants blackish leather... or maybe a darker red... the leather brown straps darker but also leaning more the greyish side... less brightness to the color... if you understand what i am talking about... the metal needs work the red mark thing is good... the skin needs work.. not sure what kind I might choose pale...
I like the drawing a lot the colors do not work with it though... makes me un intrested in seeing it...

I agree.
The coloring itsself is cool, but it doesn't really look right.
There's more potential!
Well maybe just making it darker and giving it more contrast could make it a lot better...
Keep working... ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

after a bit of re-working of the colours from the crits and suggestions received, here is the absolute final (unless we decide to change it)

Yes, yes, nice colors...
But the thing that bugs me is that metal plate, wont it hinder movement!!
And now while Im on it, I just want to suggest you add some hair, to add to the feel of the character ...

I have a minor suggestion... you said they live mostly underground... well they wouldn't have much pigment at all then, which would mean that you would be able to see their veins very well.. so he should be pretty much completely white if he's been underground all his life... almost translucent |
