That must be the longest wait we've had between WIP preview and final image - I've still got the original sketch you posted May last year.

Great image too, although one thing that stands out to me is that the waterfall seems to have water going up, but no impacts where it lands.

Row.

What a nice image. I would really love to see the initial sketch.

The sky made me instinctively squint to avoid direct sunlight...hehe silly me

The waterfall looks like a fountain .
and it does seem like the water is just evaporating all of a sudden.

Very nice piece! Great attention to detail and great colors and light. The composition isn't as strong though.

Very nice!

Nice! Your bathroom view looks like a fairytale.

Sumaleth-- actually, I think I might be the holder of the slowest artist award. My "Snow" piece was posted in WIP in Novemver 2000(I think), and the finished piece was posted around December 2001.

Sumaleth - I read your comment, an it made me laugh.. I didn't think anyone would remember my first post of this one... yeah it took awhile to finish... LOL... and thanks for the mention of the water impact finished it on the one I sent out today for printing...

Novacaptain - I'm happy to hear that you see the pic as being real. I never think any of my stuff reaches that level. And no, sorry, I didn't keep the initial sketch, all I could say is if Sumaleth does have the original post of this one, to post it here, I don't even have that anymore... that at least is an earlier version, but not as early as a sketch.. sorry again

egerie - actually I live in Jersey, nothing cool lookin like this around my area... my bathroom view actually is of the back of a building... it would be cool if it did look like the pic though

madmouth - appreciate it...

Dom - I agree with you on the compostion.. I did this with intentions of getting the elemenst you see in there... and by doing that I didnt work out a drawing, I did it all on the fly in Pshop... but overall I'm happy with it

the_monkey - no sorry, didn't think anyone would be interested in seeing the steps

DarkVVulf - thanks..

Freddio - you live in a castle, I'm jealous... I live in an apartment.. I titled it my bathroom, cause I didnt think anyone woudl like this image, so at leats maybe the title would get people to look

Jezebel - thanks alot.. I was hoping to hear from a females perspective.. this is a gift for my girlfriend....

Shadowman - thats not waldo, that's a teletubby.... and yeah I saw your mail, but have been busy, got a potential job for a really rich mans company.. his first name is Bill???? oh, and he likes computers... call me

Rohan - no actually about 30 hours... I think..

Lunatique - cool, was going for the fairytale feel thanks

Dr. Bang - thanks, I appreciate that... and my company fired me

thanks for the comments everyone

Well,

better late than nothing, this looks really, really cool. Very realistic lights and a lot of details, takes some time to catch up all the details. Great piece of work.
You are really going to work for Bill?! Respect, but I don't like him
