That's quite cool, but if you're doing it for genuine design purposes you need do think about the whole body. A torso and head isn't really a character design, it's just a painting.

On my monitor I think a lot of the darker detailing is lost, but I dont know how overly dark my monitor might be.

Its cool looking but it would be so much better if the image was nice and sharp and not so sketchy...but just a small thing
