I noticed that you copied the right arm and rotated it for the left arm...check some of the shadows in the background they are not just right (some are repeated) take out the lens flare in the back if you want it too be a totally retouched photo.

very tricky, and very impressive. i'm assuming this is something that was worth the time you spent on it.

Her left arm, the one you had to recreate, looks a bit too flat. Maybe you could shade it a bit more. The only reason I noticed it was because I knew what I was looking for. Anyone who glances at the pic wouldn't think twice about it.

The main distraction is the arm, mentioned above. Make it a little thinner, and shade it some more too.

Other than that I can only see the small errors on the window. (here are some irregularities (sp?) on the framing of the right window, and the "horizontal divider" on the right window does not match the one on the left window, should be thinner.

I'd also take away the lensflare on the window as stated above.

Inter4Design: you said "check some of the shadows in the background they are not just right (some are repeated)". However I'm a little confused by this since I didn't really change any of the shadows in the background? could you please be more specific?


As of now this pic is finished as far as I'm concerned, the customer loved it so I have no real need to spend more time with it. However, if I end up using this for my portfolio, then I will go back and fix all of the things mentioned.

For those curious, I used the color picker in photoshop to pick up the color of her sleeve, and then drew in a new arm appropriatley. For the table cloth (the hardest part) I copied the pattern on the left and then skewed it so that it would fit the other side. The window sill and everything else are pretty straightforward I think.

i think what interdesign meant is the window on the bottom right. if you have your brightness up all the way like me, you can see a bunch of fat pixels.

a pretty good job, there's nothing that stands out. however, there are some things that could be improved - the table edge is a little too crisp, the window you added in is at slightly the wrong angle, and the aforementioned arm.

and you didn't put the devil's face in the reflection....

great job on the tablecloth...as for the arm..i dont think it should be that fat. Looking at the original i think the hair is just a little boof (?) in that area..might wanna try making it smaller..
but its a great job never the less.
