This is good. You've achieved a sense of realism. I can almost imagine somebody shooting with this thing.

Does it fire bullets or something else?

it's an energy weapon, hence the round clip

The way the barrel is shaded makes it seem like the weapon is slightly pointing towards the viewer, when everything else in the drawing seems to give the impression that its a side view. Also the under side of the handle doesnt seem as sharply rendered in the middle as the outer sides. Nice concept though!

great job, although i do see the slight problem with the view of the barrel... hmm i think it has something to do with the barrel though, try adding some more shading to the front of the handle if you want, and see if it makes it look better =) great concept though
