I did this for a coloring contest on a comic art board. The pencils were by a talented fellow that goes by Babycakes. Inks and color by me.
I'm pretty happy with this one. But I know there's plenty of room for improvement. And besides, we can't have me getting a big ego, now can we? So, CRITIQUE IT HARD. I got thick skin.

Very cool, i like the water effect with the reflection and ripples going on
The hand print on her left leg looks cool
and oi wheres her right hand going exactly ?
if i was to be really picky the only thing i can think of really is the color of the blood seems to be the same (yes i know blood it red :P ) there just doesnt seem much depth on her body
but hay its an amazing pic and me being picky :P |

The skin is wonderful, exactly what I would expect the skin of a vampire to look like, and the texture of the wings are also good, has a certain feel of leather. My only crits would be that the hair looks very flat, the face could use a little more depth, and her boobs are really shinny.
Small crits really the pic is wonderfull |

Fantastic!
How come you have so few comments?
I love sick, dark artwork (matches my musical taste I suppose). The hi-lights, composition, small details - all great.
I do agree with previous comments about her face. The horns look odd, too. Great art anyway.

Nice!
The only C&C I have are:
1)The solid black shadow on her nose might be a bit much, as there aren't much of that anywhere else on her.
2)I look at the water, and my intellect tells me it's supposed to be water, buy my eyes aren't totally convinced. |

I love it! I only wish there was something more in the background. |

Her face bugs me. I think the under her
nose needs more tone and HER
right forearm seems to long and
uncomfortable. The style of her face
looks to under developed in comparison
to the rest of the image.
You might want to integrate the horns
into her head.
I think what I'm most impressed with
is the pose and head and torso of the
dead guy.
You rarely see good poses in this
type of art. It's all so static and posed
usually.
I like the picture |

Very nicely done.
The only thing I noticed that jumped out at me was she appears to be a bit bigger than him. But that might be intentional. Anything else is all just personal taste stuff so I'll spare ya that BS.
I dig your folds in the Loincloth and the wings. Way coo.
EDIT - incomplete thought [happens alot ]

Great looking picture. I really like the amount of detail in the altar. |

Very sweet work Ztiev, the dead guy reminds me of a pose this dude did in my life drawing class, except he wasn't dead! I havn't see your work before but I like your style, the only thing that I could see, and I know this is kind of petty, but the blood colour looks a bit pale in colour (might just be my PC) other then that, very nice work, Oh yeah, did it win the contest?

Wicked.
I actually love the colour you used for the blood. It looks very realistic. I'm so sick of seeing blood painted as saturated red, or any version of red for that matter. Blood comes in tones of brown with red accents. I also liked the way you made it look almost slimey. Very effective, I almost barfed. ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Thanks, everyone! Great comments so far. I'm gonna go back in a tweak a few things, as mentioned, and put in a better background.
Yeah, I did end up winning the color-off. And there were a bunch of good entries, so it's a nice ego boost for me.
Thanks again, and keep 'em comin'! |
