Hey guys,
I'm doing this picture for work and I could really use some crits. I would like to add more depth to it for starters. and I'm not so sure on the colors... Can any of you talented experts give me some hints/pointers/paint overs to show me the errors of my ways.
I also included a work in progress to show the steps I took...
Cheers,
- Shawn

Looks impressive. I remember the Goodbrush site has a gallery called 500 Nations with similiar subjects, you could check it out.
A few things I could see, the closest top corner of the top house seem just a wee bit high. The trees has similiar level of saturation as the temple, might have to darken them a bit. Aside from that, I think you could also play with desaturating either the temple or the grass, some parts seem over-saturated under the sky condition.
Do you have time to further experiment with composition? |
