This is a fantasy creature for an upcoming online comic. It is based roughly on a big cat (tiger or panther) but I also added a few rat-like qualities in just for fun This guy is about the size of a war-horse, is incredibly fast over short distances and can also climbe trees quite well. (oh yeah, and he's grumpy!)

Impressive creature. It looks like a sabre tooth tigre or perhaps one of those critters out of a Vallejo picture..

It looks like one of those rodent-things - whatevertheywerecalled that live somewhere in the amazon I think ?
The drawing is nice.
( norebo = oberon flipped .. I know, making up names is painful. ) |

thanks for all the feedback guys, and I'll take the references to Vellejo as a compliment as he is one of my favourite artists. I don't think I have seen the Sabre-tooth pic mentioned but he does have a painting called 'eternal champion' with a big cat in a similar pose.
I don't have a website for any of my work at the moment (which is pretty sad as I am employed as a web-designer!) but I will get around to it one day |

Hey, that fur looks great. I can never get fur to look that nice, specialy in such dark colors or ink. Be sure to post the address for the comic sometime. |
