Great work, my only crit is that if there's all that snow blowing around, shouldn't a bit have landed on her? |

her breasts are way too prominent if she's wearing a heavy coat...form fitting overcoat all the rage these days?

very, very nice. just a quick question: are those buildings in the background? maybe it's my monitor, but they're almost invisible. if they were a touch (just slightly) more visible, i think it would add some real depth to this painting. |

Sweet holy mother of Jebus, man, what is with the insanely HUGE picture?
We may tend to forget this in artist oriented places like sijun, but not that many people have moniters the size of small cars. For instance, I'm on a laptop. I can hardly see more than one fourth of your picture at a time. I have to either scroll all around and try to puzzle out the picture or copy and paste it in a pic-program to shrink it to an easier size. (while I don't mind doing that, I can tell you that a lot of people won't bother.)
Really, the picture should only be half that size. At most only 2/3 of that. Then you can stick a little link underneath the picture saying "Here's a bigger version" or "Here's a cool close-up!"
Remember, the majority of internet users are still on dial-up and regular screen. Keep them in mind to, 'kay? ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Thanks for the precious comments !
Angle : you're right, the coat feels not heavy enough on her breasts.
El Scoono : those are ruins in fact yes. Perhaps try to improve your monitor's contrast ?
Kaete: sorry about that, I thought it'd be nicer for people to see the picture in full detail than a closer thumbnail. I'll try to find a compromise for future posts. |

I actually like the fact that the ruines in the background are hardly visible. Its like, if she moves any further then shes really on her own and has nothing left to orientate herself. For me this really makes the environment feel wide, empty and lonely.
>> Thats what we use the scrollbar for <<
But then again, what is the point of the picture being so big if you cant see it completely at a time? This might even give a wrong impression of it. A link for a big version I think is the best way to do it. Anyway, better that way than no big version. ![](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |
