let's take person A, who is one of the best and most liked and nicest persons on this board, who also produces good artwork and is progressing very well with it, and all that shit.

take person B, who is a total jack-ass, who tells person A that person A's post are nothing but total bullshit that just contributes more than alot to the downfall of this forum, and that person A's artwork sucks total ass and person A isn't wanted on the board. note that person B had been all friends and stuff before this. person B apparently gave some sort of apology or something, but more in the form of "i'm sorry your art sucks ass" than "i'm sorry i'm an asshole"...

both person A and person B are active members here.

person B's identity is unknown to me, but i know person A, and my personal opinion on person A is that person A is a very good artist, i enjoy person A's work, and person A is an all-around nice and cool person, who i like. and i don't like to see person A not feeling nice at all because of the shit.

Oh, and if person A is really person E: you're right. She posts great art. It's one of the reasons I visit this place regularly.

I think the great thing about a forum is the ability to ignore a certain post by a certain individual. In any case, especially art, when you ignore someone's blatant attempt to be negative in a post, you make them look very embarresed.

faustgfx: hmm, yeah, could you give us the link? (obviously, this entails revealing identities), though I know what you mean. I read a couple of posts here recently that make me think that the Sijun 'attitude' has been all but lost now, as people are just being dicks alot of the time, and ruining the atmosphere that once prevailed here.

I personally am not going to post here much from now on (a mixture of career and Sijun-related apathy), though there are plenty of other good forums which have not been ruined in the way you describe. (including a rather swanky forum not less than a million miles from yourself

)

Anyway, you're right, it encourages people not to post here anymore.
