I was experimenting with warm lighting on a cool coloured surface. I also wanted to create a composition that would show off the forms of the dragon's body. Let me know what you think. thanks. ![](http://www.geocities.com/think_like_an_artist/bluedrake.txt) |

Oooh... Lovely, just lovely.
The lighting is fantastic --- as if the dragon were flying into a sunset. Beautiful job on the spines. I also love the nice solid leg; now there's something a dragon could land on without hurting himself!
My only suggestion might be the wings. At the moment they're rather ungainly and so small that it looks like they could barely support the dragon's head, let alone the whole body!
Give him big, magnificent wings with the light shining softly through, and you'll have one hell of a picture.
PS: oh, And the texture is great too. I forgot to mention that. |

I really like it, but I think that the dragons right( left from viewer's perspective) hand has too much lighting on the palm *nitpick*. I really love the color job and the pose. Nice dragon design too. |

wow, i really love it! the colors you've chosen are great. they make you feel good.
the only thing that bugs me is that you cut off the tips of both the wings. i'd like to see the whole beast.
it's really beautiful tho. i love the shape and form of the dragon. ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |
