I respect your comments Gentlemen

I like copying poses, and other comic book artists. I have removed the picture.

Enjoy the rest of the show Mr. Heiesuke Oda, nVIDIA, el scoono, and Man With No Name

elscoono, why is it so wrong to use another artists pose and alter it, when the two pictures are not even the same at all. It's not like I traced it, I have penciled, inked , and colored it from scratch. I would certainly agree with you if it was the same exact pin-up, style, colors, ect.

As far as my website, and images, ...well, many of you seem to have hated the fact that I had this pinup posted here. I dont want to argue with any of you, because I respect the opinion that I should have given credit to Campbell. I dont think I need to post my website, neither any more images.

hey, it's not so wrong at all. as long as you give the other artist credit. taking your website down seemed a little odd and extreme to me. i was really impressed with a lot of the work you had posted on there. i think if you had just explained yourself people would understand where you're coming from.

Hey there,

I told myself I'm not going to get involved with this after my first post. But, if I didn't now, I might regret later...or I'm gonna regret this after I post. But, why should I? After all this is a forum and people can say what's on their minds without the use of offensive words and the like.

From what I hear there have been others that blatantly ripped off other artists' work and put it up on their website, and sometimes even forgot to erase their names. It just seems to me if you wanna get ahead in this world you gotta work for it..heck I spend days trying to come up with some images, but there are some who take the convenient way out by taking other peeps work that they've worked hard at. I've also knoticed some "lift" of Mike Mignola on your website..now down. If that's how you wanna go through life well fine by me. At the same time if either of these artists visited your site what would you think they would do? So, there are few here that care for this kind of stuff and voiced their concern. That seemed fair enough....to me. I don't want to sound all lecturey, and you seem like a nice guy....that's all dOOd. Ed--

Hey Ed (nVIDIA),

I certainly agree, and respect where you're coming from, and yours, and other individuals concerns in this forum. Appologies to all of you , for not having posted credits to Campbell in the beginning.

this might not be related to anything, but why is the girl from the fifth element on your site labelled under character design?

What happened I said nothing negative...I saw it looked like a J Scott Campbell-esque pic but thought it was cool...I see nothing wrong with coping a pose, poses can't be copyrighted or patented and I see nothing you did wrong. I soon will ask for opinions on my art...and I trace sometimes.

well, we didn't steal someone else's work. i think that's the lowest thing an artist can do. i see you've removed your website. perhaps you stole the entire website as well?
