He man! Looks really cool, I think the colouring is the best, the pencilling is not so original...sorry, but looks proffesional. Can I ask you if you are a comic artist at the moment?

For those of you not in to the whole "rave" thing... she's holding a glow stick. Those are the plastic tubes filled with liquid that when "cracked" emit a glow. Very popular in the rave culture.

Simple explination of their popularity ... they don't require batteries, they look cool ... and they look even cooler when you're high.

"diskjockey" appears to be floating over her breast and not wrapped to the fabric. And there is a visable arc on her right breast (her right, our left).

Umm...yeah. I guess I can stop looking at her breast now, eh?

Anyway, she looks great. Looks exactly like something out of a professional comic.

looks great except for the shading on her head. Her face looks a bit flat.

First of all, LOVELY work!

I have a question though: I never understood this style of inking, and I wish you could enlighten me. I'm not trying to be a smartass--just really curious.

Why do most of the inked lines have that little bead of ink at the begining and end? What causes that and what functions do they serve? I've been an inker myself and have been active in the comic book industry for 8 years, and I still can't figure it out.

Are you high??..that is a streight rip of J.Scott Campbells style, but hey it looks good so who's complaining , welcome to the boards please post more work you have done an excellent job of copying his style

[edit: Hey I looked through your site, pretty good work, this illustration does stand out. Speaking of illustration I looked through that section and you pretty damn good at copying people's style . That's not a knock it a compliment. I also really liked your David Finch stuff

Thanks for all the compliments and critiques you guys . . . This forum has great artists, and very talented people with great opinions, and good critiques.

I love this place !

PS: As far as inking techniques, I will soon have a section on my website , with info on how-to, what tools, etc. Please feel free to e-mail me anytime. My website

errr...

You should realize that someone was bound to recognize it.....

At least you made a few minor changes... but please don't call it your own. How about something original? That's the only true way to judge your abilities and help you improve through critiques.

Hmm...I recognized the inking style. And the style of woman also seemed recognizable. I don't want to sound harsh but what up G? Ed--

*sigh* It's especially sad when people with talent do this sort of thing.

Let's give him a chance to explain himself.

I respect your comments Gentlemen

I like copying poses, and other comic book artists. I have removed the picture.

Enjoy the rest of the show Mr. Heiesuke Oda, nVIDIA, el scoono, and Man With No Name

hey, no offense man. it's just when you post something like that it raises all sorts of ethical questions. it's obvious you're a talented artist and professional... so i'm more than a little surprised you wouldn't at least give some credit to the original artist.

don't really see how you can be upset at people for pointing that out.
