Hey Roundeye! The white highlight on the pencil sketch was added digitally afterwards right? Or do you sketch on a grey paper and use a white pencil?

Just being curios. Very nice picture btw, I like the groovy and dynamic pose.

Stylin' and Profilin'...

About the only thing I don't like are the colors, makes me think of ketchup and mustard. But everything else is all bad-ass and stuff.

Man, you have so much style going on, surely you have some to spare. Send some our way will ya?

THis is a very cool piece. I love your painting technique. There is so much life in his gesture, emotional expression, posing. THis is great.

Are you going to be illustrating the book? Coloring the book??? Hope you have something to do with it. Awesome stuff...

Roundeye man, you never cease to amaze. You're super modest too when it comes to your art, which is beyond my comprehension.

Like Ron mentioned, you give your illustrations such character. Very dynamic!

I think you're my favorite artist.

Btw, do you have any cookies? I really want a cookie.

zaar - Yeah I think he added the highlights afterwards via a color dodge layer. I do the same thing for my pics. It works and it's quick when you find out that the watercolors in Painter don't give you a vivid enough highlights on certain things.

Roundeye lease take my stars (I won't be needing them) as that's really, really great drawing and rendering technique. I went over and checked out Jake's preview pages on his site, and they look really cool! I'm sure he was VERY happy with your interpretation-great stuff!

Fantastic work as usual, roundeye! As everyone else has said, the expression and the pose looks great. The curvature on the gun is appealing as well.

I said it before: BRILLIANT! thanks so much for doing this. Myabe you should be drawing him instead of me.
Also, I'm excited about your contest. can't wait to get started on it.
7 shooter: oooh, really? Looking forward to that.
