I spent a bit too much time on this pic considering it's not all that spectacular. But I tried some new coloring techiques which I don't usually try on my characters. I ended up with a slightly more creative character than I had intended/could think of at the beginning of the pic. I think I'll use such a process for designing characters.

Basically just has to do with just painting instead of laying down the line work, then coloring it like a coloring book.

actually I really like it.. I love the little "x"s for the bunny's Eyes.

Great. I think you should add an element indicating that the pet is alive in some way and sufferingfrom the girl's bad treatments... a tear from its eye for example.

ELLioT - That's a great idea. Though it's not a real pet. Just a plushie and I think I failed in conveying that it is a plushie. Probably should gave it a larger button nose.
