Maybe it's not totally sane to paint your ex girlfriend as a bride, but hey! I'm only human...

Since I'm a beginner I would love if you gave me some comments. I've been looking at this picture for so long I can't tell what's wrong and what's right.

it looks very nice..however, i think the problem is with her veil..it doesn't look quite right, almost like is floating...maybe adding some shadows will fix that....

Your painting technique is really good, but proportions wise, her neck is much too thick. Should be about two-thirds of that thickness at the most.
