But to save you the trouble of clicking over...
See the whole thing so far here.
All feedback welcome and appreciated! Thanks for looking.

PS- I remember Pat's comments about how my handwriting can break a reader out of the narrative. i've got some help making a font out of my handwriting, which I hope will be regular enough that the reader will stop noticing after a few pages. Thanks again!

Looking great. funny page. 12,13,14,15 i believe are the best page primarily because you cleaned them up and made em look better. So is the text in this your handwriting or the font? It looks fairly consistent and looks great! Like how you bolded some words and the speech circles look great.
Not much else to say..
the picture of the girl at the bottom, looks like her right eye(our left) is too far over or osmething? |

Actually, I *love* your lettering. It's so much more "alive" than a lot of computerized fonts.
Besides, it really matches the artwork. I think it's a real shame when comic artists create beautiful, unique-styled art and then slam some standardized font down on top of it.
The great letters were all about matching the art. But that's just my view. |

Actually, I like the lettering too.
I think the issue comes down to clarity. As long as it's easy to read you're golden. So unless you've got a special reason for some crazy lettering, it's better to be "clear" than to be overly fancy, since it can be distracting.
Personally, I like neat hand lettering the best. Unfortunately, most comics are all about breakneck deadlines, so those extra personal touches are usually sacrificed --and computer lettering is much quicker.
But enough about the lettering. I like the art! Nice character design and sweet panel to panel movement. Are you gonna ink this eventually?

eviltoylet> The text on this page is my handwriting. A friend with a font program is going through the laborious process of turning it into a font. and yeah, her face is off a little bit... off model, too. hrmm...
kaete> Thanks very much! Hopefully, the final handwriting font will be a good middle ground, with all the benfits of digital fonts, but still reflecting me personal style. Sound effects will still be done by hand. Probably bold letters will be done by hand too.
Pat> Thanks! This page inked?... probably, yes. I think so. Although I don't have any plans for it at the moment. I'm working on an upcoming page as well as the cover image for issue 1 (the page here is from issue 0). Glad you like the movement, I was trying to give the feeling of the reader sort of running after the character as she closes in on the wagon.
Thanks again everybody! Your comments and criticism are encouraging, helpful, and appreciated.
