I consider myself a huge Tool fan. This certainly isn't the type of image I think of when listening to their music. But to each their own.

It's not too bad though. It's a tight, clean design. Better than some Tool fan art I've seen.

I have to agree with Manik. I am a huge TOOL fan, but this is not the sort of imagery I invision while 'experiencing' their music. But, to comment on the artwork itself, I think it works well for this type (desktop wallpapers, etc).

It would be cool to to see a thread started on band fan art... hint hint.

I'm not wholly satisfied with it myself, either. I started out with the skull (a much larger version), and it sort of degenerated into this. Then I decided to just make it a typical desktop design. Bleh.

It's a fan wallpaper, not a huge project depicting what I think of when I listen to Tool.

Nice picture.

nice images, but as well.. this is not something that comes to mind or something i believe tool visually relates well too... but as manik said.. too each his own...

... (offtopic) ...

this is something more along the lines of tool visual aspects.

but, its all opinion, this was drawn while listening to tool. (sorry for stealing your thunder in the thread.)

tool is the best... rumors are they're gunna tour with Citizen (chris cornell and what's left og rage against the magine) this summer.. if they come to indiana, i'm gunna shave my head into a mowhawk and go wild at the fuckin concert. it'll be crazy

anyways... i think that background really ain't my cup of tea. doesn't remind me of tool at all. i like that drawing someone posted, that reminds me of tool a lot more.

cool
