They look great! Remind me a lot of Cos's painting style. ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Dang thats sweet!. Friggen mint atmosphere, goovy as colours and all round spliffy execution.
The second is looking great...further refinement and a repost I say!

In the first one the horse's body seems to be too long and the girls left hand looks little weird but otherwise the atmosphere/mood and lighting are just great. I like the second one too, how it fades and details decrease when going to the bottom of the pic. Nice looking loose and bold brush strokes.

composition is annoying me, seems like all the elements are evenly spaced from each other....
now go put some clothes on that horse! ![](images/smiles/icon_redface.gif) |

the first one is amazing, and the eye keeps fixating on the face ! damn nice, you've gotten some mad skills too bro ! g'damn !!
you should maybe kill some glow at the horses head (to the left) and keep the brightest glow at the candle
the second one is rendered in a common stylus, and im kinda bored of the stile..BUT greatly executed !
some real sweet stuff... man i love the first one.. !
keep em coming !
and, nice hair on the first one, great rendered !!

Thanks for the nice comments everyone.
Jason- As Lukias mentioned, Cos is my bro and people often comment that are styles are alike. Although I'm the more warped one, and lucky for him we don't look alike, so the similarities stop there :P
Romb- yeah I think I agree with u that something looks off about the hand, looking at it again I think that it is too large in proportion to the rest of here and it might need some more defining, thanks for pointing that out. With the horse, maybe your right, although I was getting comments originally that the body was too short and the butt too small :P So I made adjustments, maybe I overdid it a bit..
Briareos- Not sure I get what you are saying about the composition, do u mean that everything looks too placed? The problem I do a lot is make everything very straight on which makes the work look a bit stale, and I guess it's something I need to work on. Don't worry about that horse, it is fully decent know, decked out in it's horse hotpants and an extra wooly sweater to keep it warm.
This is the sketch the first pic evolved from.
Here are a few more quickies I thought I would put here.
