Maybe you could fix the perspective: Set a horizontal-line and let all horizontal and parallel-lines cross there.

Thanks for the comments! Yeah the straight line is a good idea. It does need something more to tie in the composition. Maybe I'll make an elevated train tracks or something.

Damn foreboding apocolyptic setting you've painted, Lafolli! I like all the detail on the ground and the curious masks the man and the boy are wearing in the foreground. It gets across the mood instantly.

It looks like the man holding the gun, the boy and the hill they're standing on is the foreground, the woman amongst all the junk is in the the "mid-ground" and the ruined buildings set against the sky is the background. If you were to alter the colours a little so that these three layers are more distinguishable from each other, the image would be easier to read and have more depth to it. If the man and the boy are the centre of attention here, having some sort of light falling onto them from the right will help get that across.
