hahahaha I like the guy with big ears and glasses :P
reminds me of a friend of mine
with the exception of that he has hair still
I like your kinda drawing, kinda crazed :P
only suggestion is to try using different expressions with the mouth. I used to always draw with the mouth closed for some reason... got out of it and things started coming more to life from the dull kinda seriousness
I will scan some... |

thanks for the comments
xyster: yeah, you're right about the dull mouth expressions. I will try to vary them more from now on... but the sketches are just the outcome of boring history lessons, so from
that perspective they're understandable
bilbo: thanks! I'll post more during the next week when I get my hands on a scanner.
...more comments more than welcome! |

These drawings are great - very good stuff!
The anatomy looks well thought-of too. Is baldness common where you live? |

Wow wow wow. These are superb! You have an excellent grasp of anatomy. I don't have anything in the way of a crit. Sorry I can't be of any help. |

thanks for the feedback!
nova: yeh, we have this disorder in the finnish genome that makes you lose hair when you get over 40 or something... no, drawing bald guys is just a habit I guess.
but I draw people with hair every now and then!
bellie: super pen...wish I had one! these are
just class room sketches using normal everyday pencils that you write down your notes etc.
kheemo: yes, everything is from memory and imagination. it would be extremely cool if I had models looking somewhat like these sketches, someone post a link if you know a place with good rez pics...
as for the anatomy issue, there's a zillion flaws in every one of those sketches... but thanks! |
