I'm ready to make the leap from a free host to paying for one. I've already registered www.ysgalon.com and I want to know if anybody has recommendations for a good hosting service.

$10 a month, 500 MB of space, high transfer limit. 24 hour phone tech support and I've never been on hold for more than 15 minutes. It's pretty fast too.
I've refered like 5 people, but I keep forgetting to get the referer bonus

Take a look around there, plenty of options to look around at, most decent hosts are going to start around $10 a month.

I also recommend ABAC.net. I've used them for over 2.5 years and am very pleased with their service.
