This is not an ordinary self portrait, mind you. I don't think I'm this pretty, so don't worry ;]

I tried to imagine myself in my own style. Beautified, if you will.

I have a poem to go with it... but the poem is in Swedish.

Sand faller;
Mina gon r redan stngda,
Liksom portarna till livet – trngda,
Av fransarnas tjocka galler.
Jag lever, men min kind r blek.
Jag lever, trots mitt hjrtas svek,
Och spaden som lyfter mer sand
Som fr att tmma evighetens strand.
Jag lever?

And the reference:

This looks absolutely fantastic!

Colours, skin, hair. Everything is perfection.

No idea what the poem is about though...

Beautiful and soft as always. Always enjoy looking at your paintings.

On this one though I seem to miss your "frillies and flowers"! (I don't actually care) but when I looked at the shell on your face I thought "OUCH kinda spiky" erm that was my attempt at giving you more of a response than random praise.

Nicely rendered. I would comment that you may want to work out the composition more-a really strong comp would propel it ahead quite a ways.

...sure you're pretty. *turns off flirt mode*. great work as usual enayla, i love the way you get that glitter effect in your works miss, and the colors are nice as well.

hmm, it kinda looks as if you're buried in some weird purple beach sand though....that's a cool thought however.

...did you put your head on the scanner? weirdo....

The glitter effects and the softness in the piece are just wonderful. I'm sure the poem is cool to but I don't know Swedish.

No, I didn't stick my head into a scanner

The photo referense is for a fun thread back in my forum - experimental portraits. So first, I:

And then I snapped some diva shots

In the diva Shots my favorite is the bottom right one.. the one where you're smiling.

Always a pleasure looking at your work, the only thing that I see is that you seem to have longer lips, but that's just me
One more question, I haven't checked but, have you posted a tutorial on how to do those transparencies you do?
