His body and cloting look fantastic! But his head looks a little skewed to the right, although now that I look at it, it could be the bandages throwing me off. Either way, might want to tweak that a little bit. Good luck! |

yeah, you might be right. The bandages make the hair look funny, and I really didnt want to get into doing the face all that much. It's a sketch afterall, heh-eh

Have a good life!

gaah, this place has gone crazy...i was wondering if i'd even find any art in this heap of non-sense.
anyhow, i'd have to agree about the head. i like what you've done here though boomstick, i like the character alot...especially the colors. are you planning to do a background....the white outline makes me think of snow oddly. later. |

The rendering's looking nice in general, especially around the center of his waist. Work out his face some more, get some more life in his cheeks :] Nice job |

thx guys.. yes, you are right! The head could def. need a workover. It's just that i did not want to do a new 'face' study portrait, but rather I wanted to focus more on clothing/light etc...

I think the pose is very stiff. It would be nice to see something more dynamic. Also you might want to check his right foot, the perspective doesnt seem to be right. The rendering is otherwise, nice. |

yes, Binke, the pose might seem stiff, but since this was a study in fabrics and shading it would do no good with a way too dynamic pose... But youre right! his right foot could be adjusted abit, I guess. thx

Nice . The outfit and the little details on his gear looks very believable and well thought. Where did you get the ispiration for this, if I may ask?

...the character is my former roleplaying char. the inspiration for the outfit came from several historical outfits combined into this. The 'Men at arms series' illustrated by Angus Mcbride is a wonderfull series. I highly recommend them...

looking good, Boom.
I like the clothing, the colours and the weapons.
But the face could need some more work..
His chin looks way too small. And too sharp.
otherwise, thumbs up!!
