Here's a little something I finished the other night.
It's done with a photoref. The cover of the latest issue of the fashion magazine Elle..
I know It does'nt look like the girl on the cover, but I kinda like it anyway.

The neck/shoulder joint is fairly vague, no hint of a collar bone either. Mind you, I'm the skinniest person I know, so it may just look funny to me not to see a collar bone .
excellent hair and eyes. The texture of her face is very impressive.
excellent job keep it up. |

Everything about this piece is astounding, the proportions and overall construction of the facial features is spot-on. Painting technique and color use is fantastic. You even incorporated the depth of field on her shoulder.

Hi DiXter, Im not replying much if at all lately on forums, but I really HAD to reply on this. I just wanted to say that I really admire how you improved and Im sure that you worked alot to get this far and I think you earned some praise so:

She looks fantastic, Dixter, especially since it doesn't follow your usual style. Love all the realistic details, right down to the slight freckles on the cheeks.
Malachi Maloney and Fallen have got to check this one out! |

Thats incredible! Looks like so much hard work went into it. The skin tones are great, although her nose has a few areas that look kinda sunburnt and waxy, if you know what I mean. On second thoughts that is really not a problem at all, I wasn't looking at it in context. The hair is amazing! It's so hard to put greeny yellows in the background for hair, but you have done a great job down in the depths there, the bits near the parting...
Excellent work! |
