I think the yellow light is a bit too saturated. I love the area around the stairs now when you've finished it.
Good stuff

Looks really neat. Maybe the only thing is that I get the feeling that there is supposed to be something happening. But I don't have a clue what it is.
That's probably just me though. It's still early.

very cool, my favourite part is the detail on the sitting guys pants and shirt

very solid piece of work, and yes I'd agree about the saturated yellow, but I can understand, its a dramatic effect.

dkimblad: The saturation of the yellow depends on the monitor...i have a sony and it gives just about that dramatic feel that i was after.
Jucas: thanks
Krobar: Its not really my first painting, but its my first 'finished' painting.
Before it where almost always random doodles and try outs.
edraket: Heh, hope by this time you are awake...:-)
Anthony: you should have seen how many times i redid the pants before i was satisfied
I hate wrinkles in clothes!

I like your ideas. Why draw boring portraits when you can draw whatever you want, which I think this picture is all about. Not that it matters, but I'd like to hear if there's a story behind this scene or some kind of explanation what the hell is actually happening in here. Very good!

Thanks Fate, Laslauk
THe story is like this: I was contacted by some Dutch people last year. Mission was to make some concept drawings of characters for a game they where going to make (freelance).
I made one and got the project, after some time they dissapeard and that was that. I am finishing the drawings as an addittion to my portfolio.
