I think the yellow light is a bit too saturated. I love the area around the stairs now when you've finished it.
Good stuff ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Looks really neat. Maybe the only thing is that I get the feeling that there is supposed to be something happening. But I don't have a clue what it is.
That's probably just me though. It's still early. |

very cool, my favourite part is the detail on the sitting guys pants and shirt
very solid piece of work, and yes I'd agree about the saturated yellow, but I can understand, its a dramatic effect. |

dkimblad: The saturation of the yellow depends on the monitor...i have a sony and it gives just about that dramatic feel that i was after.
Jucas: thanks
Krobar: Its not really my first painting, but its my first 'finished' painting.
Before it where almost always random doodles and try outs.
edraket: Heh, hope by this time you are awake...:-)
Anthony: you should have seen how many times i redid the pants before i was satisfied

I like your ideas. Why draw boring portraits when you can draw whatever you want, which I think this picture is all about. Not that it matters, but I'd like to hear if there's a story behind this scene or some kind of explanation what the hell is actually happening in here. Very good! |

Thanks Fate, Laslauk
THe story is like this: I was contacted by some Dutch people last year. Mission was to make some concept drawings of characters for a game they where going to make (freelance).
I made one and got the project, after some time they dissapeard and that was that. I am finishing the drawings as an addittion to my portfolio.
