My first post to the big board, woo-hoo. these were done in Painter over scanned pencils (included.)

These two are OLD chars I've decided to revisit. The premise is that Kyle and Arika
Moroboshi have been bred as part of a long standing conspiracy to create a perfect hunter of the supernatural. Things go wrong, and Arika is embraced and Kyle is killed. Problem is, due to the various spiritual tinkering that had been done, neither condition took.

So Arika is left as something more or less akin to a dhampir with an obsession with blood instead of a thirst, while Kyle is mainly attitude with the power to make anything bypass the defences of supernatural entities. the spirit tattoos on his hands glow when he gets aggressive and imbue any weapon he carries.

I don't know what exactly but something's wrong with the girls face... maybe move it upwards a bit

you know, those are pretty good drawings, but your loosing the entire image when your coloring them. the main problem is seperating your pencil lines from the paper. this link might provide you with a good technique on scaning images, and cleaning them up in PS. Its mostly anime styled images, but the concept is good.
