This is my 1st wacom painting. It's something more illustrative, different from my usual photorealistic style.
C&c welcome

Those few sharp details in the bushes below the tree really catch my eye. That whole little piece of light there really sings. Was this done in Painter? Nicely done.

Tnx to both of you for the kind words!
Pat: This was done in photoshop 5.0
Those sharp detail were made with a 1 pixel paintbrush.
I visited your web site and I like your stuff. Especially 2 paintings, for both are very well render and I like the style and textures.
Mangaphiles, its a pretty original futurist way to draw.
Axe Girl, some part look like oil paint(!)
Your tempting me to try more seriously painter.(*installing it*)

Very nice Spectra.
Reminds me of Karate Kid 3 (sorry, hehe)!
The base of the tree need more work IMHO, it's a but unclear what it actually going on there.

Sukhoi: tnx for your comments. I agree with you that the base of the tree is a bit unclear.
It's a bit late here (almost 1 am) so I,ll go to bed and see about it tomorrow.
Good night and best wishes from Quebec.

It's a very gentle and soothing image, I love it. For some reason though, I feel uneasy where the side of the cliff overlaps the water: it almost looks as though the water overlaps the rock.
But it's very peaceful and the colours are beautiful on the eyes. |
