Welcome to Draw Club. Since dhab isnt around, i thought i'd take the liberty of starting a draw club for this month.

  • First rule of Draw Club, you do not talk about Draw Club.
  • Second rule of Draw Club, you do not talk about Draw Club.
  • Third rule, if you just read this message, you have to draw.
  • Fourth rule, you can draw in whatever style at whatever speed you wish as long as its on topic.
  • Fifth rule. there is never a fifth rule.

This month's assignment: Security

OK, I'm all for it, but what the hell kind of topic is "Security"? What does that mean, exactly?

sacrelicious- Any image that evokes the word "security"?

Examples:

A little girl hugging a security blanket as she sleeps like an angel.

A badass merc with lots of guns guarding a door, and you see a little bit of a beautiful woman inside the door.

A room full of laser motion sensors, and a thief trying to cross it.

etc etc etc.

Yay, memories of the good old days.

Comments from extraordinarily cool people like "madmouth" show exactly how something like Draw Club eventually disappeared.

We need to start Flaw Club for all of the inflated egos to show their extremely flawed and ultimately repulsive art.

It's cool to see that someone has taken the intitiative to start draw club back up. I'm not particularly fond of the assignment, simply because I can't think of anything that I would enjoy drawing for it. I'm going to try though... but I might not post anything. I have an idea but I don't think I can pull it off.

Thanks SporQ

I think we should draw our own interpretation of "security" whether it be a girl holding a blanket or a badass merc with a thousand guns.

Man, I miss your stuff Frost. I know you find it especially difficult to agree with positive opinions about your talent ( ), but above all the technical skill you have, you have a great sense of humor. It shines in your work, which is sometimes hard to accomplish even when you're trying to.

Anyway, I laughed as usual. Then saved it.

(Just a note to say that the reserved spots have been deleted - new posts go at the *end* of the thread so people don't need to search back through 5 pages just to see if someone put a picture up yet.)

Ok, i don't post much but i just got a great idea.. this is good timing too because i just made an assignment of my own, everyday i make myself fill at least 2 pages of whatever, product concepts, comic style art, anime, still life, whatever, just so i keep up the practice, and i like having a goal to draw to, so thank you Dhab, and SporQ for keeping hte hope alive
