cut it out cos, you make me wanna quit. those colors are just amazing. i love that red fog, and the texture on the stonework. my only crit is that the hand seems a bit big, but that might just be me. |

I love it Cos! No crits at all except that maybe the "brickwall" could be a bit improved. Very very nice !!! |

I don't like the boobies....but i guess that's personal preference
Great work on the hand and foreshortening.... great work indeed.
I do agree with the stonewall needing rework... i'm still unsure of what part of a building or whatever it is...... looks like an archway..... but lighting is off? |

very nice cos. Your'e really getting into this style now. It shows!
The hand may seem alittle too big, since it's the only thing going toward the viewer... idunno

No crits, just wanted to say this is great! It would be nice if the edge of the wall receded into the cement grooves, as it looks a bit clean cut, but that's just being pedantic. ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Great stuff, but yeah, the hand is a little large considering the fov. The rest of the image is in a regular fov while the hand seems a little exaggerated.
But the rough style is really tight!!!
Good job.

Very cool, I like the colors you chose, the anatomy is good, and I like the background... however that brick wall looks out of place to me ![](images/smiles/icon_confused.gif) |

Thanks for the comments everyone
Would of liked to get more colour variation with this one.. Think I was a little too rigid while painting it, should of loosened up some more. A few people mentioned the hand looking big, it's actually been scaled down a touch here. Is in a perspective, not sure how accurate it is but I think it's passable..
Agree about that stonewall. Could of worked more details/textures into it, looks a little soft. Ceenda, think your right about light hitting into some cracks on the edge of the wall too. Is too straight, think that would improve on it. |

Yeah man, definite improvement. Some varying aspects(colours, placements), far more so than before.

The hand and bracelets (and lower bg area) are what I like most in it, stayed sketchy but still had a realism. Rest got abit cartoony for my tastes.
Dis one for da Lukiath, (still, and always will be, da biggeth gangthta on da net!)

Everything in this works perfectly, Cos! The archway you added makes the whole composition work that much better. |

cheers for the comments with this everyone!
High Five - Thanx dude, yeah think it needed the archway just to frame the piece better, actually it was my bro's idea to add that.

Wow, I love this. Nice atmosphere and painterly style you got going on here. My only comment is that the skirt flaps need just maybe a tad more definition, just to solidify them a bit more. |

well only thing I can say is that clothing from taht era wasnt that form fitting. It is a good picture by all means but I would suggest making the dress a little more compliant to that eras dress code... when I see this I dont think of King Arthurs time.. I think more of 20th century wizard movies..
sorry. ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/icons/icon14.gif) |

nah it's not meant to actually be Morgan le fay, or even a character existing in that same era, just a character inspired by her. probably should of made that more clear..
I totally agree the dress doesn't fit with the arthurian era. I wasn't going for historically accurate with this, otherwise I would of dug out some reference for the clothes. This character's more comical really. Probably more inspired by the old Camelot 3000 comics Bolland did.

Cos: Is that Brian Bolland? If so, he's one of my favourite comic artists. His portrayal of the Dark Judges in the early 2000AD was fantastic. |

Ceenda yeah man Brian Bolland! his stuff definetely kick arse, that dark judges story you mentioned is probably some of my favourite stuff that he's done, Killing Joke aswell... The Camelot 3000 series are cool too, tho well old now, early 80's.. Think I was around four or five when they were printed, I read them a fair but later tho hehe. They're worth looking if up if you haven't seen them! |

I've seen loads of Brian Bolland's old 2000AD stuff and love his art on stories like the Luna Olympics and the Cal Wars, but I've never seen the Dark Judges. Could someone post a picture of what they look like?
