Hey there icannon.
I must say that i really like this piece. The perspective could do with a little work but I love the colours. My style is completely different to yours as you have a real loose stroke. See what I mean by looking at 'Demon Speeding' topic.
I'm particularly interested in the top of the tree for some reason, maybe someone can finish that remark for me...

Chris thats amazing! Why haven't you been drawing more at school and showing off some of this skill?! Well, this settles it, you're drawing more. The texture you got on treebeard is perfect, and I think the never-ending story reference is really suitable. The hobbits look awsome too. Good work |

Ths is nifty. The tree reminds me of the ones in the Enchanted Forest in the Fruit Snacks commercials, back in the day.
(For those who don't remember, Fruit Snacks are those tiny little chewy fruit flavored drops that taste kind of like fruit rollups. They're made by the same company. Took me forever to find out what those stupid things were called. )
