I posted a older version of this a while back (sorry to make a new post but i need c&c).
I've been using my wacom for about 3 days now and in that period of time i went back and put more details on this image i did a long while back with my mouse (uhg). Even though 90% of it was done with a mouse, the 10% done with tablet I think vastly improved the image as a whole. Well I originally had sketched the image on paper, scanned it, traced it with the mouse, colored and so on and so on... then with my wacom just recently went over it a few and sharpened it up a bit especially his armor, the lighting hitting him, shadows, and a few other things that i just wanted to sharpen up a bit or change. Neeeed comments on it so I can better myself for the next time around... just experimenting (first time) with paintbrush in photoshop (instead of airbrush). Ok enuf JIBBA JABBA--- here he is.

(1/2 the original size)
Hope you guys & gals like it. One of my first characters painted in photoshop updated.

The eyes are not symmetric, and the glow is a bit uniform, maybe it should be brighter in the center of the eyes ??

The cape looks a bit more like flames in some areas, than how cloth behaves even in the fiercest storm. It looks torn in some areas, not even the poorest superhero would go out in a torn cape. I know I wouldn't, when I'm out there saving the world.

The shoe-texture looks a bit odd, like brushed metal or something ...

He has a very "elongated skull"

Unless the green light emitting object actually protrudes from the body, it would not produce a glow on the chest. But maybe it does stick out ??? Unless the brooches/jewellery overall has a function other than being eyecandy, I think you should reduce them in size. If this guy walks through Bronx at night, he'd be mugged and raped ... maybe that's it ??? he uses the nice shiny stones to lure in the baddies ???

This guy looks like he's ready to take on the worst of the worst, maybe you could make the background slightly more apocalyptic ??

I also agree with Po9o, he is a bit stubby ...

If you can weed out these things, it would be hard to put the finger on anything in your drawing .. Keep it up ..

The cape reminds me of Spawn's. The CG is great. The forhead seems to long, and the right arm is to small (preportion wise.)

The forehead seems too large...and try to avoid having a lot of airbrush strokes show up (on the cape, especially)
