Just something I did while my laundry dried. I imagine it being somewhere in the near-East . . . Turkey, or Hungary maybe . . . seems like when you ask for futuristic cityscapes you always get 200,000 person-per-km2 population density, but I have a hard time seeing much of the world ending up like that. My future still has parks . . . trees . . . anyhow, post your own futurescapes if you want.

Cool topic. Had to urge to sketch out my impression immediately. They paved the Earth in mine.

That's very cool Pat. It reminds me of an area of Scrap Iron City, from Battle Angel Alita . . . probably the use of pipes is what's making me think of Kishiro's work.

edit: also been meaning to thank you for linking me . . . I catch a fair number of hits from your page. I'll try and remember to add you to mine next time I update.

Cool, here's my contribution. Just a sketch so it's not very futuristic yet.

Hey Ballistic, I'm seeing you walking along that cityscape in your new jacket. And now I hear some really deep 808 drums rumbling...

Good job mate!

Thanks Ken! I'm no expert at painting technology, but I was definitely finding that the square brush was helping to keep things looking crisp and engineered instead of soft and organic . . . masks seem to be very useful for this kind of work too.

Yup, I know the feeling
But then again if you lived in the middle of it you propably wouldn't appreciate the scary and dark beauty of it, eh?!
