Here is something I've ben working on during the holidays, I'm not 100% happy with it something still bothers me about it.
oh well here it is....

Very cool man, really like the face. Think the body area is a little flat tho, some areas could of used some lighting from the fire in her hand, like the breast plate for example.

Awesome. I agree, some areas go flat. I'd really like to know how you managed that border. Its so delicate and so perfect.

OMG that's the most amazing fantasy painting that has ever been posted at SIJUN in all my years!@!!! Damn Death Dealer that seals the deal for me you are a master painter..it doesn't even look digital in the small painting...God you do good work always but you really out did yourself on this one

I really hate to be posative but I have to admit this is fucking awsome!! It could have done without the upclose because people like me can steal your technique and make more money now ,thanks!!

im no amazing artist or anything, but i like it alot, i just dont see how you could be disapointed with it. its hella fantasy and that rox. if you are looking to make it better the only thing i would suggest would be to make the fire coming from her left hand more defined, and looking like fire.
the fire doesnt look real to me.

but besides that its awesome.

Wow wow wow...I'd really love to see a tutorial for this one!!!

Something that bothers me about this piece is her chest-area and especially the breast plates. They seem flat and are kinda awkward-looking. And maybe the lighting on her left arm (the arm with the hand holding the fire), it makes her arm look flat and unrealistic.

But aside from that, its an awesome picture.
I'm in awe.

Looks great! Her left arm looks like it died-some more vibrancy on it will help. The breast area is very flat. In general it's beautiful though!

oooOOOoooooh... that's nice.

Looks a bit flat in places though. Also, the left arm looks a bit.. odd. Otherwise, very nice indeed.

Extremely beautiful. I like the effects you got with the fire and ice. There is some flatness going on, and the cape/robe wraps around her neck is looking stiff.

Wow, you did a great job! Truly amazing. The only thing I would've done differently is her cape at the bottom of the picture. It's a bit too symmetrical down there. Otherwise it's just awesome, I love it!

and you have to be insane not to like that. it is simply amazing. i love the smoke stuff that is coming from her hand and staff. the rendering of her skin is fantastic too. please post more stuff

Wow, D.D! I thought your linework was good, but this colour painting is incredible! As ppl have said before, the flames from her hand and the way they curl across to the ice staff looks very nice. All the curls and swirls inside it make it look so good.

The girl's hair waves in the air in a nice way, too. Only crit is - why only one ear-ring?

AWESOME work... the ONLY thing that is bothering me is the fact that the breast dont look like they belong to her... it looks like a breast plate with 2 big balls glued to here...

Fantastic!!!!!
There is only one thing wrong. Her collar
bones are too low. Even with pushed up boobs,
she doesn't have the correct amount of "chest"
above her boobs to her shoulders.
A minimum of 1/2 of her hand should be the
distance between the very top of her boobies
to the bottom of her collar bone.
If you fix this, It will be perfect!!!

Her pecs need to show a bit. Clavicals look odd[ly lit].

The fire bearing hand/arm lacks lighting to make it convincing to me.

I like the entire image and the composition is wonderful. I think what might be
bothering you is the fire in her left hand is
not casting enough light. Maybe add a little
lighting effects to her left arm.
