There is nothing to suggest that it's actually a female.
The whole drawing and character seems to be well balanced to me.
But, she looks like a man
The ribbon could perhaps hint where she is from, where she is going, you know, the past and the future (talking in vague and misty ways here )
Looking forward to see some more.

I like it alot...
But I don't think it's very wise to wear the ammunition belt thing around the head and neck like that...
What happens in a firefight?
there are some anatomy problems aswell, but since I'm not to good with anatomy, I'll let someone else give those crits...

Yeah i know theirs not much to suggest a female is underneath all that metal, but its one of those decieving aspects. i like the idea of including nationality/tribe/status/identity from the actual ribon. as for the ammo belt well thats mainly for composition, in sketches i had it hanging lose around the legs but it just seemed as though it was getting in the way and looked rather awkard.
thanks for the comments guys. |

Very nicely rendered! *save target as...*
The curving surfaces of the leg and chest plates look good, and the metal texture you've put on the bun an ammo barrel make them look very rugged and powerful.
Agree with others that there's nothing to suggest she's a female, but since it's only the topic title that says that, it's not really an issue, methinks.
Just two things though. I think her head is too small, as it's four head lengths between where I guess her chin is and her crotch. The ideal length is no more than 3 and half. Sure the armour surrounds her body and makes all exposed body parts look tiny, but she'll only be wider in size, not always taller.
Also, it looks like that ammo is being fed in through a bandolier (leather belt with bullets thread through it's length, similar to what the mexicans where in old westerns). What happens to that belt after the ammo is fired off it? Belts of ammo are usually connected using small disintergrating links, or in the case of mini guns, some sort of cage-like chain surrounds the bullets and guided them into the gun. |

Kind of looks like she has 5 fingers.. If that one is suppose to be a thumb then it should be smaller then all the others heh. |
