Meet Eyzaathe, Queen of the Crystal City Fae and rumoured to be one of the most beautiful creatures of Aii Chriaston.
The waterfall is part of the brooklet of Ah'tuala. It runs down from the tall mountains of Chi Dala Mia towards the sea. Local people have long since wondered at its mystical glow, but legend has it that the source of the little rivulet is right next to the entrance to the Fae Kingdom of the Crystal City. Nobody has found the source and returned with the memory of it to tell anyone, though, so the tale is as of yet just that - a fairytale.

Hey Enyala!
This is fucking awesome - I can see, how much fun you had, doing all the transparencies in her dress!
What's the original res on that piece?
The only small criticism, but that of course is very 'loki', would be that the clouds could look cooler with more perspective, giving the scene a nice 'roof'. But whatever ... beautiful |

Awesome work as always Enayla. I've been away from Sijun too long.
Have you written up any more tutorials? I remember the one from the european site.
Anyway, let us or at least me know if you have.
Love those transparencies btw |

wow, amazing work here. this is totally awesome. HOW LONG DID THIS TAKE YOU?!?!!?!?! lol
most of all, i love the figure. i believe it's flawless. or, if not flawless, darn near it.
i love the waterfall behind her. you can tell it's a watefall, but on our right side of it, there's some lines that wouldn't exactly fit as water, and it gives it this awesome mystical effect. it's not bad at all... it looks wonderful.
the ladies face is beautiful.
the rocks on the left aren't very detailed. i know that too much realism may take away some of the realism, but i was thinking maybe to just add a little more depth to it? i'm not sure though.
i also like the pattern on the bottom left that goes with that frame, so to speak. it looks nice. fits in well.
so, what is this for? is it a professional illustration or is it just for fun? |

My only crit is the waterfall is a little too bright. It weighs the image to the point that your eye does a circle from the eyes, down the body and back up the waterfall. The beautiful wings are almost hard to see with the waterfall being so bright.
Otherwise, beautiful. |

well now, that's breathtaking. i really think you've outdone yourself, the transparent cloth is just amazing. only crit i'd have would be that the waterfall seems just a little too shiny... it's not by much, but just enough to be a little distracting. Doesn't stop me from loving it tho |

Surferboi: Thanks =] It was tons of fun designing her wings.
Maceface: Thankee! I promise I will ;]
MoleculeMan: Naw, not really. *chuckles* It’s more like “Ah-ee Cree-ah-ston” =)
Sadman: *bounces* Thanks! For once I was trying to THINK about composition. I’m really glad someone noted it. Thanks =) I haven’t got any tutorials right now, I’m afraid, but I’ll see what I can whip up if I get any spare time over.
iAm-Philter: Heheh, not much of a secret to spare. I just draw. Thanks =)
Loki: Lots of fun indeed =] (close up of the lace: ) And yeah... I know about the sky. Maybe I’ll have the time (and somehow the skill!) to go back and do something about it =) Thanks for the crit. (The original resolution is: 16,45cmx12,5cm at 600dpi... not too big, I know, but... =/ )
Vgta: *Chuckles* That makes us two. I don’t really post here that regularly anymore. No more tutorials, I’m afraid – most of my time is spent either drawing, working, or fiddling with helping people at my own forum.
Mucha: Whee =]
Awetopsy: *grins* Thanks! I’m actually thinking that this is the one I’m the most proud of so far. Glad to hear you like it =)
Liser Studios: It’s near impossible to say exactly how long it took me. A few weeks back, I had started on a painting I wasn’t too happy with. Something was weird about her pose and I just completely lost inspiration. I had started on both background and girl, though. Then, the other night, I picked it up again – and sat up all night ‘til 5AM working on it. I spent some more time on it the day after, and then it was done =) Oh... and it’s all just for fun. An illustration for my own RPG project, you might say. Thanks =D
Burn0ut: Sexy? *laughs* If you say so =)
Swampbug: Thanks =)
Phil: Colours are my main fascination =) Thanks.
Quasar: =D Whee!
Wakestarr: Heheh, I’m crazy, you know =) Thankee.
Thenextbox: *giggle* Thanks.
CyberArtist: I know there’s some problem with the brooklet looking too bright... but I’ve always described it like this, and it felt like I should draw it like I described... maybe I should go back and alter it, later. I’ll see what I’ll do =) Thanks for the crits, and the compliment.
KeLLuSioN: Thanks =]
Hethebar: Thankee =D |
