Good stuff as usual brotha.
I like the top one best, but the bottom one is really nice too. The costume really makes the second piece.
The only crit I have has nothing to do with your painting, but the top model looks like her hip bones are very low. Or maybe she just has a really long torso?
So you found some new models you're going to use? That's great.
I've actually got an interview with two possible models tonight. They're strippers and I know strippers can be 'flakey' at times, but we'll just have to see how it goes. =/
Anyway, good luck with your new model/models.
And again, great work.
Take it easy,
Malachi |

They look very slick, Fallen! Nice work! The intricate tattoo down the first girl's back and the curious leather outfit are very nicely painted. No crits whatsoever.
Were the girls actually wearing the tattoo and the leather outfit when you painted them, or did you add them later yourself? The leather looks like the hilites have been painted from imagination but it's still just as effective. |

Hey Fallen, not enough people showing love for pin-up art around here, so I thought I'd bump this puppy and see what happens.

Hey!
Nice stuff! I really like the first one and I agree that it's a bit hard to get a good look at the second at that res.
2 Things that caught my eye with the first one. The highlight on the left hip, (closest one), doesn't seem the same as the rest of the skin. Kinda like there is left over baby oil there or something, the diffuse reflections seem a bit sharp in contrast to the rest of the pic.
The other thing is her left hand. The fingers give me the impression that they are hanging off the side of a table or something similar, but there isn't even a hint of this in the background or the shadows. The rest of the pic hints at a completely flat surface like a floor.
Anyways, definently no biggies, the look great!

I hate critiqueing art that I couldn't ever possibly do myself, but thought I would add that the hair on the first seems a bit...off?
Your work is always top notch anyway. |

hehe..totally forgot this was posted here.
Lets see:
prophet - thanx.
pro-phet - ya I have to remember to do that. I usually get too lazy too add all the little detail pics to my server.
KrayZ - thanx.
Malachi Maloney - hey dude. Ya that top girl is shaped wierdly...I got the same kinda comments on another piece of her about her ass being too short. I'm pretty sure thats the last I'll use her anyway..I already have like 11 pieces of her. :\ And ya, I finally got a line on some new models..should be this week.
Highfive - No niether one had the tattoo or the latex. Well she had a mini latex corset but I wantd her to have a more drastic outfit so I did that one up. The highlights still kinda bug me, but on the other hand they are growing on me.
Quasar - thanx.
Andromeda - Ya same as above...I'm just too lazy and usually just post the same size pics that fit on my site. I just don't want to post them too big as I have had several people stealing them for their own uses. People will do that..so be it...but I don't want the online images to be big enough that they can get a half decent print from.
Malachi Maloney - Well it's not really a pin-up forum. Besides, my pin-up is usually always the same..seen one seen them all.
Silverwolf - Good eye. She was actually sitting on a table for the photo..I didnt even realize that. Thanx. And she is supposed to look like there is some sort of baby oil on her.
Lemur God - How so?
Thanx for the feedback all. |
