Wow, you made another one! Really cool looking, especially the engine intakes. Do you have more technical stuff like this besides the pod racers?

Yeah, would like to see the linework.
I bet it looks really good!

Ultra cool design. Armylike in it's aglyness and functionality. In the good way ofcourse....A-10, Apache, u know...ugly ducklings make for believable military or performance oriented hardware!

MORE!!!

Holy crap that's tight! Very effin nice!!! Is it all done by hand - meaning no 3D help? Because the perspective is dead on. And everything is clear!

Any interst in posting a line drawing for us, so maybe some of us can give it a shot to illustrate it out? That'd be cool!

Excellent work. I really like what you've done with the coloring.
Of course, the line art rocked on it's own.

Take it easy,
Malachi

This is so awesome. I've been staring at it for like 10 minutes now. It took a few minutes for my eyes to be able to focus on something else. :P

Stuff like this just leaves me in awe. I mean, how are you able to draw with such symmetry? Your ability to imagine how forms look on both the outside and the inside without having anything to refer to is just incredible. Concept artists are so friggin' talented.

Very nice concept design. You rule on those mechanical, technical drawings. Is there any chance you could show how you go about drawing a ship like this. Do you start of with simple boxes or perspective lines and put in the detail later or have you got some other good technique. PLease, spill the beans..come on you know you want to!!!!

snarf: thanks for your nice words
sometimes you have to make tons of sketches, but also is hapend that you have the shapes in your mind and all you have to do is just lay them down, but ... anyway everything is about a huge time spent on practicing.
thanks.

ignusdei:

0.5 - blue lead pen for sketching
0.1 - pigment ink for thin details
o.7 - ballpoint pen for finall touches
all tougether just common tools.
