beutiful! beutiful.. ;_; I really like this one. the background is... just awsome, so much mood, and feeling I get from the background alone is enough to make me cry. amazing texture on the elvens' skin.
I only have a two problems with the pic overall.
1) the ear:
its extreamy hard for me to place what it is about it that bugs me..... the only way I can even describe it is- It seems that the hair is forming the ear, rather than the ear forming the flow of hair? ah, its not a big deal, its just one of those minor things that just get me
2) ambient light:
the background seems to depict a morning, or sunset type atmosphere. the way the misty fog is a shade of orange/brown, but the character in the forgroud seems to be excluded from the atmosphere (light reflection from skin has a bright white tone to it, rather than yellowish like the background).
other than that, its beutiful!
great job ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

i find the composition odd as you cant really tell where she is sept the hint of a few trees (is it a large forest? is she just coming out of it?). maybe you should have expanded it horizontally or vertically (is she riding a horse buck naked?) .. the mood of the backround is eerie\neato\spaghettio. i like the yellow.
the elf's nose seems large and oddly rounded- her bottom lip juts out and is rather large as well. her ear is pointed very strangely, i think. maybe you should start by drawing your typical human ear and not cutting off so much as maybe adding on more. also, the hairline is very crudely defined; you should probably slowly\vaguely see the skin diminish under the hair in spots near ear.
it's still nice :] and i know i was overly critical. |
